International Children’s Book Day

 Friday,April 02,2025

On the occasion of International Children’s Book Day, a series of engaging literary activities were organized in our school to inspire young minds and promote the love for reading.

The celebration began with a special morning assembly where a student delivered an insightful speech highlighting the importance of books and reading in a child's life. This was followed by a beautiful poem recitation that celebrated the magic and joy found in children’s literature.

After the assembly, students of Classes VI and VII gathered in the library to participate in two creative competitions:

  • Bookmark Making Competition – where students designed colourful and imaginative bookmarks inspired by their favourite books or characters.

  • Poster Making Competition on the theme of Children’s Day – where they expressed their thoughts and ideas through vibrant artwork.

The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the students were truly commendable. Such activities not only foster artistic expression but also deepen their connection with books and reading.
